Release overview
This release has made improvements to Temps functionality, including a quick way to create a job and placement in one process, and a new ‘checks’ screen when placing a candidate. There have also been Temps PowerBI changes to report based on locations.
Enhancement 63456 ‘Place candidate’ button on the Temp Job page now checks availability, EAA, Q&C and Attributes

The ‘Place Candidate’ button on the Job page has the following process:
- Click ‘Place Candidate’
- Choose a candidate from the ‘Find Candidate’ screen
- The new ‘Candidate Checks’ screen appears

- Click ‘Place’
- The ‘Placement shifts’ screen opens, with the ‘Job Shifts’ screen open in front, to allow you to select the shifts you wish to place them on
- Enter any extra information required on the placement page, and close the placement shift screen and placement screen. The fields on the Placement screen auto-populate from the fields on the job screen.
The warn/prevent option can be controlled via the admin screen.

There are future plans for these checks to be included in all functionality that can place a candidate on a Temp Job.
Enhancement 58691 Quick way to create a Temp Job and Temp Placement in one process
For Temp Placements, a job must exist before a placement can be created.

The button will be greyed out if the candidate is not of type ‘Temp’
The process is as follows:
1. Click ‘Create Temp Placement’ from the candidate page

2. The ‘New Job’ screen opens, with the ‘Find Company/Contact’ window already open. Populate the company name, click find, and double-click the correct company in the results

3. You are returned to the ‘New Job’ screen, with the ‘Job Title’ drop down list already expanded. Select a Job title from the list

4. Use the ‘Find’ buttons alongside the Contact and Job Location to enter the appropriate data, then click ‘Create New’

5. Enter any relevant details on the Job Page. The Attributes, Quals & Certs, Rates, Back Office Sector, Division and Department can be configured to auto-populate.

6. Click Save and the Shifts screen automatically opens. Add the relevant shifts and click ‘Save and Close’

7. The ‘Candidate Checks’ screen appears, indicating if they have passed the various checks. These checks can be set to ‘Warn’ or ‘Prevent’ in the administration screen

8. Click ‘Place’ and a Placement it automatically created with all the job shifts. If the ‘Create Temp Placement – Confirmed’ was clicked in Step 1, then the placement shifts will default to Confirmed. If the ‘Create Temp Placement – Awaiting Confirmation’ was clicked in Step 1, then the placement shifts will default to Awaiting Confirmation
